Horse 11x08"
This little piece was a fun but challenging one to draw. Plenty of flowing hair and put of focus background elements to tackle. ThanksTheresa.
Braque De Bourbonnais 16x12"
I attended the annual Dumfries House Dog Show 2019 and was proud to present this 16x12" pencil portrait of Lily and Louis to their owner. They are one of the only breeding pairs of Braque De Bourbonnais in the world and Felicity has been doing wonderful work to help revive this rare breed.
Harry 11x08"
Here's an A4 portrait of Harry looking all shiny in the sun. The piece took around 12 hours to complete.
Sisters 16x12"
This 16x12" portrait took around 20 hours. It was fairly challenging in a few areas. Particularly the see-through portions of clothing and the fact there was so much hair to draw in this piece. It's the second time I've drawn the two girls on the outside. The first was over Christmas as a gift to their Mum. This new piece was being given to their Grandmother.
Swans 11x08"
Some slightly different subject matter to my usual work. The client and his wife have become friends with this pair over recent years as they visit the waterside. They took a lovely photo and asked me to do a drawing of them. The piece measures 11x08" and took around 10 hours to complete.

Self portrait #1 08x08"
Every portrait artist should put themselves under the microscope at some point and it was time for me to do just that. No frills, no filters, this pencil drawing is my first attempt at a self portrait and first of a series of water themed drawings I'll be doing over the course of the year. I could almost call this a miniature as it only measures 8x8 inch but I class my miniatures as anything below 6 inch. Either way, it's a small drawing when compared to my usual 16x12 pieces.
Highland Cow #1 05x08"
This is my pencil contribution to the Highland Cow trend. Because why not?
Angela Lansbury 11x08"
This pencil portrait took roughly 12 hours to complete and was drawn from a photo taken in 1950.
